Overview: G. Anderson Agency has been selling real estate and providing insurance services on Long Beach Island (LBI) New Jersey and the adjacent mainland since 1967. G. Anderson selected DCG as the right firm to redesign their website and optimize it to increase traffic.
DCG Solution: DCG designed and implemented a site for G. Anderson that incorporated an interactive map of LBI including an advanced rental search engine that allows users to easily enter criteria and compare properties returned in the search results. Rental properties and properties for sale are integrated with Google mapping. The redesign was a great success with site traffic increasing 500%. Property owners are using G. Anderson's site as their record of source for property availability.
Next DCG developed a self service email marketing tool that allows G. Anderson real estate agents to easily create an email newsletter within 5 minutes. They can create news items or select from an existing list, and select up to 5 properties to include in the email. They simply attach their list of contacts to email and click send. Recipients receive an attractive HTML based email that contains pictures of the chosen properties along with links to property data sheets and details. Agents can easily test and preview email newsletters before sending.
DCG developed and implemented an intranet for G. Anderson Agency. Employees login and can access and enter updates regarding property changes (e.g. price changes, updates to status). They can also track and enter issues regarding rental properties, items lent to tenants, etc. Users can manage featured property information that appears on the web site and is available when sending email newsletters. The intranet also contains a document library for the team to manage and share resources.
