Project: Commercial Construction Website redesign, custom Lotus Notes Application for project management, change orders, bid notifications

Overview: Arthur Funk & Sons is a leading Pennsylvania contractor specializing in commercial construction buidling with projects ranging from 10,000 square feet to over 150,000 square feet. Funk turned to DCG to redesign their website and customize an existing internal Lotus Notes application.

DCG Solution: In the short span of 3 weeks, DCG was able to develop and implement a custom designed website with robust content management, a project image gallery, and a portfolio library of over 200 projects.

DCG also enhanced an existing Lotus Notes application used for project management. DCG developed and implemented a custom module for managing change orders and associated change items along with notifying interested companies of pending projects and allowing them to submit bids via web browser which were then incorporated into Funk's internal database.

DCG wrote a custom agent that allowed users to associate a message in their Lotus Notes Email with a specific project so critical emails could be found and kept together.
